Hello all!
Welcome to Dark Bird Productions new website! My name is Nick Blacketer. I am an independent film maker and the creator of DarkBird Productions.
I make short films, televised commercials and now am directing/producing a featured length movie. I created DarkBird Productions in 2009, since then it’s been a long and rewarding adventure. Along the way I’ve had the opportunity to meet a many talented actors that regularly work with me. This group has grown, from none to many, and it’s my privilege to call all of them friends. I’ve worked with musicians that contribute their art and are as varied as you can imagine, from punk to folk to hip-hop. The people behind the camera bring many skills, talents and fresh perspective. Without any of these people, DarkBird wouldn’t exist. We, as a group, aren’t film maker’s, actors, technicians, or musicians. We are DarkBird Productions.
